ColorBase is the capture-side companion to ColorSpace—scan marker cards, calibrate lighting, and export harmony-ready datasets that power every tool in the suite.

We're polishing the guided workflow right now. Join the Discord makers list to test early builds and help shape the capture experience.

ColorBase capture workspace

We're finalising the guided upload experience that turns raw scans into structured ColorBase entries.

Guided sampler — define reference strips and swatch regions with smart overlays.

Lighting calibration — automatic exposure balancing keeps pigment fidelity intact.

Pipeline export — push processed swatches straight into the marker database when you're ready.

ColorBase pipeline

From swatch scan to searchable dataset

ColorBase keeps pigments, finishes, and brand metadata intact so every harmony honours your physical collection.

Multi-swatch parsing — detect individual chips, skip gaps, and label rows automatically.

Adaptive smoothing — remove scanner noise while guarding delicate gradients.

Harmony-ready metadata — every entry stores LAB, HEX, and brand context for instant harmonies.

Tip: Capture swatches in themed batches (e.g., earth tones, neons). ColorBase versioning lets you compare revisions and roll back if needed.
